News has just surfaced that Rue McClanahan suffered a serious stroke while recovering from bypass surgery in November. According to Internet reports, surgeons removed a blood clot from her brain which has affected the 75 year-old Emmy winner's speech and movement on the right side of her body.

I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned it but I live with a cat. That’s huge for me for 2 reasons: 1) I’m allergic (thank God for Zyrtec) and 2) I’ve never really been a big fan of cats. But when my boyfriend and I moved in together I became a stepdad to his little furry critter named Sophia (yes, for Sophia Patrillo of The Golden Girls). I’ve realized that I’m lucky; Sophia is a sweet kitty. Don found her next a dumpster when she was only a few days old. Her took her home and the rest is history. Like any pet, she’s very loveable, playful and at times a pain in the ass. Most nights she’s laying in my lap while I write these posts or meowing at me to pay her a little attention. That’s why when I saw this cartoon it really hit home and had me LMAO. Check it out and if you have a pet then you know so much of this is soooo true. Enjoy! Btw, this pic is of Sophia checking out the inside of our dryer.

Who ever thought Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn would star in one of the most anticipated season premieres on TV? Project Runway is back and fashionistas couldn’t be happier and Bravo couldn’t be more afraid. The cable network’s big enchilada is now served up on Lifetime and I’m just hoping they leave the recipe alone. The new promo for the debut is slicker than what Bravo ever did in five seasons but it looks like it’s going to be the same ol’ fashion drama and I’m ready for it. One definite change will come AFTER Project Runway. Lifetime is adding a new show titled ‘Models of the Runway’ – a 30-minute tell-all from the models’ perspective. I always wondered why the models weren’t utilized more (remember the episode in which one model didn’t show up at all and the designer had to wear the outfit!). Regardless if ‘Models’ tanks, I’m just glad to see Tim Gunn back where he belongs, telling whiney-ass designers to “make it work!”
