Nepal hoping gay weddings will flock to Mt. Everest.

The once-conservative Nepal is now inviting same-sex honeymooners to hike the Himalayas to participate in what they hope will be a record-breaking wedding at the base of Everest.
According to The Sun, the country’s tourist board wants to cash in on gay marriage by hosting the world’s highest same-sex ceremony at the highest point in the world.
Just five years ago, a gay man would be beaten in the streets by police but the government now includes an openly gay parliamentarian and has extended an olive branch to the gay community via a major marketing campaign.
