Congress has been debating healthcare legislation for the last couple months, and with any luck, is set to consider a bill following the August recess. GLMA is seeking patient and provider healthcare stories. The LGBT community continues to face discrimination in hospitals, clinics, and doctors’ offices. There continues to be a lack of resources necessary to understand and deal with the unique healthcare needs of the LGBT community. GLMA’s mission is to change all of that.
