Fingers Crossed for A Weekend of Depeche Mode
Anyone who knows me well knows I have one true fascination – Depeche Mode. There are those who love the band only for their Violator days; others wish to only relive the days of Music for the Masses and then there are those who, as I like to say, really “get” what Depeche Mode is all about. Yes, they are dark. Yes, they are moody and yes they could be much bigger if they conformed to what mainstream fans want from them but they don’t – and that’s... Read More
Circumcision Fights HIV Risk But in All Men?
Public health officials are considering promoting routine circumcision for all baby boys born in the United States to reduce the spread of HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Experts are also considering whether the surgery should be offered to adult heterosexual men whose sexual practices put them at high risk of infection. But they acknowledge that a circumcision drive in the U.S. would be unlikely to have a drastic impact: the procedure does not seem to protect those at greatest... Read More

I’ve been nervous about the finished product; I’ve never had any of my work published so I wasn’t sure how my photographs would look in such a large format. In a word – WOW! I’m very critical of...
