New HIV Maps Map out State Data
A new online tool is available that maps the prevalence of HIV and AIDS by county, age, gender and ethnicity in all 50 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Developed by the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF), the HIV/AIDS Atlas is based on 2006 data collected from states and cross-checked with CDC data. The NMQF partnered with George Washington University’s School of Public Health and Health Services to collect and analyze the data.
