About a week ago, I posted a half-ass article about DominicFord.com producing 3-D porn. I say ‘half-ass’ because we critiqued the idea without actually trying it. Keep reading after the jump to read how I got called out on it and the results.

An hour after my post hit the front page Dominic of Dominicford.com very politely emailed me with more info about his new technology and offered to send a pair of glasses so I could get the whole 3-D effect. Of course I took him up on his offer.

A couple of days later, I received the red sturdy paper glasses and quickly jumped on my laptop. First, let me say the membership letter that came with the glasses featured a simulated 3-D photo which jumped to life when I slipped on the special specs so I definitely couldn’t wait to log on to the site.

Getting the 3-D Effect

I thought wearing the eyeglasses would be a little annoying but you get so wrapped up in the effect that you don’t notice them after a bit.

Now let’s talk about the 3-D in Dominicford.com; it’s pretty cool. If you’re a voyeur, then this could be your ticket. It does open up a window into the whole scene. You get the feeling of watching the guys through a square hole in your computer. I wore headphones to put the sound right into my ears and it really added to the overall experience.

Star Wars Sex

More techy type guys may see the movies as more of a holographic experience. Think of it as porn that Hans Solo would get caught watching in the Millenium Falcon. The visuals aren’t perfect; there are some drifting edges and Blu Kennedy’s red hair was a weird color but it’s understandable since new technology always has bugs to work out.

Dominic suggests downloading the movies since streaming can affect the 3-D visual. The site will also be releasing a new movie every week (in 2D and 3D) so it’s safe to assume that they will only get better.

Porn Is Porn

One thing to remember is that porn is porn and whether you’re wearing the 3-D specs or watching the 2-D versions, Dominicford.com features some of the hottest guys doing some hot stuff. The 3-D debut duet of Arpad Miklos and Blue Kennedy was definitely a turn on – and I’ll leave it at that since anything else would be TMI.
