205 countries and 10,708 athletes are participating in the 2008 Olympics but only one man is openly gay. Australia’s Matthew Mitcham was outted by a newspaper in May. According to gaynewsblog.net, the 20-year-old diver had no plans of coming out but when ‘the question’ was asked by the reporter, he answered ‘the question’ without batting an curled eyelash – YOU GO BOY!
